πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€The Geography of the Electric Guitar

Hello my name is SeΓ‘n and I have been playing music for the large majority of my life. My favourite instrument is the guitar and more specifically the electric guitar. My blog will be dedicated to the geography of guitars. Im not sure what to put in this that's geography related but I'll try and keep it as close to the topic as I can.

Post 1- My Favourite Guitars

At home I have an arsenal of guitars. They all have different Amounts of strings, different sounds and all look very different.
My favourite guitar is my Jackson 8 string fanned fret guitar. Jackson guitars have always been my preferred guitar brand to use as they are extremely playable and the wood that is used has a great tone to it.
In the photo below, the 8 string is the second guitar from the left.

most of Jacksons guitars are made with American swamp ash with a quilted maple top and an ebony fingerboard from Africa.

There are many different constructions of guitars, neck thru, bolt on and set neck
Neck thru means that there is 3 solid pieces of wood in the guitar the first one being the middle of the body and the neck. The other two pieces are the wings at the side.

Bolt on means that the body and neck are separate in production. They are then bolted on with heavy duty screws.

And finally set neck means that the guitar is crafted out of one solid piece of wood.
